Hatfield Township [Pa.] 7th Annual Roctoberfest / Hatfield Speedway Memories
On October 28, 2006, Hatfield Township Parks and Recreation Board will present it's 7th annual "Roctoberfest" car show at the School Road Park - Hatfield, Pa. Included at the show will be a "Hatfield Speedway Memory" display. Included will be old race cars, memorabilia and an autograph session of old Hatfield drivers. If you have an old race car you would like to bring to display or your a driver or an associate of the speedway and would like to attend, please contact Bob Joos at watching29@aol.com for further information. More updated information will be added as it becomes available. For now, we are looking for firm commitments of cars and drivers.

Sanatoga Speedway Slide Show
There will be a slide show on the History of the Sanatoga Speedway on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 12:00 noon. Refreshments will be served and feel free to bring your memorabilia along. This will take place at the Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society - 2341 East High Street - Pottstown, Pa. , 1 block east of K-Mart. JOE CANAL'S/GAR MOTORSPORTS MEMORIAL DAY CAR SHOW
JOE CANAL'S/GAR MOTORSPORTS 3rd Annual Memorial Day Car Show will take place at the Joe Canal's Liquor
at Rt 47 and Rt 55 in Millville, NJ on May 29th.  The show runs from 10am until 2pm and will host a variety of race
cars and hot rods.  Free sodas and hot dogs will be provided by Pepsi and Joe Canal's.

SANATOGA SPEEDWAY REUNION
The Lower Pottsgrove Historical Society will be hosting it's 3rd Sanatoga Speedway Reunion during it's annual Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 10, 2006. There will be vintage cars on display and former Sanatoga Speedway drivers, car owners and track personal on hand to meet and greet, and also Sanatoga Speedway memorabilia to see. Drivers who thus far have told me they will be appearing include Mose Moore, Dick Fleck, Vince Conrad, Elton Meitzler, Bill Blatt and Blaine Sadler. There will be free parking, free addmission, food and games for kids. The society is located at 2341 East High Street, Pottstown Pa., 1 block east of K-Mart.
